Yes, even this square plate is thrown on the wheel! Starting off as a round plate, it is then hand cut into its soft square shape after trimming. The 8½" plate is used most commonly as a luncheon plate in the Ebi collection.
The plate starts off as a 12" round plate thrown on the wheel. After trimming the foot on the underside, it is hand cut into its distinctive square shape.
